Rachel Guenther
Rachel has always had a passion to invest in the next generation. She's also always enjoyed the beauty of mathematics. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Missouri and has been in and out of the classroom setting over the last 15 years. One-on-one tutoring has been a constant source of delight and she enjoys when her students "get it"!
Rachel's Story
Rachel and her husband, Ryan, have three children who they never thought they would homeschool. Here they are nearly five years later, rocking that homeschool life! Rachel knows, however, that mathematics can be a source of stress and anxiety for many homeschool families especially as students enter the high school years.
That's why she founded Purpose in the Journey! Rachel would love to partner with homeschool families to deliver quality math education that the whole family can engage in (and truly enjoy!) together. Parents are always welcome to sit in on courses and tutoring sessions (as long as their student is present). Rachel's vision is to be a resource, not a replacement, for your homeschool journey. We all need a little help sometimes and she's here to fill the void in the mathematics homeschooling world.
